Some more simple uses of folds to create and interesting contrast between high impact colourd paper and simple grey stock, a project by Filippo Nostri, with this project i intend to use the most vibrant and stand out colours for inside the publication, this way we can incorporate white gloss and grey stocks to bring them out more.

Umbrella.

Yet another project from Carl Kleiner, this one isn't completely relevant but using colour and a really great concept, he creates a blurred gradient effect using simply an umbrella and a slow shutter speed.

We could do something similar using just paper by rotating it on the table using a camera and tripod.

Paper Art. 2

Another set of collage's from Carl Kleiner, i can't believe how amazing this work is and there's so much as well, these images are from 'The Berlin Wannabe No. 2' the same idea as the first but a little more complex, i much prefer this second set to the first.

I would like to use a similar process for our front cover, creating an overlapping of colours then placing a thicker stock over the top of the collage with a die cut shape to give a window effect into Fedrigoni papers.

Some more stunning work from Carl Kleiner, i can see his work becoming a huge inspiration for our project, he has already got tons of ideas floating around in my head, i think creating a short book of paper craft we put together ourselves could be a great selling point for Fedrigoni, if we can show how easy it is to create great aesthetics using just paper that could be a result, at the minute i'm thinking of creating a short book of crisp images of 2D collages of geometric shapes, focusing mainly on Fashion / Textiles tools and products.

A series of Beautiful collage's using paper to create geometric shapes using paper, the choice of paper and colour is truly inspiring, giving me some great ideas for our YCN project, creating geometric pieces of design corresponding to Issey Miyake's dress design, using a series of folds cuts and composition.

I found this strategic comms/corporate comms/human resources/investor relations on September Industry by Brogen Averill, A great combination of two processes i want to try for the book, using both black and same colour spot varnish, creating a good impact along with a subtle use of colour for the name, these sorts of finishes are exactly the type of things we need to include in our designs, something to show off the paper and its many uses.

Found on the Behance Network, this publication using a combination of specialist paper and simple gloss paper creates a great balance for a wonderful design, if we are to consider using images of Issey Miyake's work we will need to use a combination of paper, while at the same time showcase Fedrigoni's paper well enough, i think simple inserts of paper create greater impact and make the paper stand out more, as apposed to using full page spreads for the paper, doing this could let the paper seem like random inserts and the reader may just by pass them.
