Nearly there now, really hope my client actually takes this project and makes good use of it, that would make me over the moon, the business cards turned out okay, i should have used a thicker stock but that doesn't matter the quality still turned out alright and the i'm fairly happy with the imagery i used, just need to get everything together now to photograph and put my final boards together.

Heydays.
'A full range architecture company that work on both public as well as
private housing, founded in Ă…lesund 1966. The identity, based on the
hyphen, communicates a bold and strong architectural language and
visualizes the energy that represents Kibsgaard-Petersen, through young
innovation combined with years of experience. Their solid red color
combined with stamping and embossing tools tells a story of a modern
company with solid traditions.'
Beautiful work here by Heydays studio located in Norway, easily in my top 3 favourite studios, this is a campaign created for an architecture company, really innovative work and very simple, creating a really strong impact for the client, something i would like to develop for my client's company.

MADE.
'Made is a newly established communication unit, focusing on custom
publishing for Scandinavian lifestyle brands. Besides the logo and
visual identity the work included stationery and promotional material'
Nothing to do with the constriction industry but branding and identity nevertheless, really great work from Brunnswicker studio, using wonderfully simple but effective design direction to deliver clear information about the client.

Kingston.
Kingston joinery another high end joinery company working on bigger projects than my client but still a similar design direction is appropriate, this however i feel, is not a strong design for my client, it could be much better if there were brighter colours and a little less going on, i feel the logo has potential but i don't feel this aesthetic would attract my clients target audience.
Sturrocks.
Sturrocks joinery has a less appealing aesthetic, using a very basic logo, representing different cuts of wood and joints involved in joinery, a very basic idea with no real concept, also the colours are extremely basic using only colours associated with joinery, really unnecessary as it doesn't give the company a very recognisable brand.
Oakswood Bespoke.
Another carpenter/joinery company again using a simple approach, using natural colours and white in their logo and clean crisp imagery of their work on their easy to navigate website, the colours and typeface give a friendly trustworthy feel to the company,
Howdens.
Looking into how one of the most recognised joinery services in our country brands itself, although this company specialises mostly in crafting the wood and creating different formats in various different types of wood to supply to joiners, it seems quite difficult to a joiners identity with an innovative style due to the majority being self employed and using small, independent and local graphics designers.
Howden keep a simple aesthetic leaving all their work to speak for itself which in my eyes in the best way, many joinery companies over complicate business cards and designs with too much information about themselves using multiple flashy images, crowding their designs i want to keep a minimal approach whilst still promoting the best of his work, i would like to propose a website also to showcase my clients work to its full potential.
